Get Tux'd

In 1987, Get Tux’d was Ice-T’s first film role. He played Fab 5 Fishy, the ladies’ man, created for Fab 5 Freddy, who could not make it to Los Angeles from NYC due to a scheduling conflict. The short film showcased my directing for producers after not being hired to direct my 1986 movie Modern Girls. After watching Get Tux’d, Charlie Band, the owner of Empire Pictures, hired me to direct Assault of the Killer Bimbos.
